SMS Compliance & Consent

Service Strike is a field service management platform used by service businesses such as plumbing, locksmith, HVAC, towing, and other home service companies. The platform allows businesses to communicate with their customers by SMS regarding requested services and active jobs.

1. Types of SMS Messages

Messages sent through Service Strike may include appointment confirmations, technician dispatch updates, arrival notifications, job status updates, estimates, invoices, payment links, customer support messages, and other service-related communications.

2. How Customers Opt In

Customers opt in to receive SMS messages when they provide their phone number to a business using Service Strike and consent to receive service-related text messages. Consent may be collected through website contact forms, service request forms, customer intake forms, or verbal consent during appointment scheduling.

At the time of opt-in, customers are informed that message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, and they may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

Customers may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, the customer will no longer receive SMS messages unless they provide new consent.

4. Help Instructions

Customers may reply HELP to any message for assistance or contact the business directly.

5. Consent Records

Businesses using Service Strike are required to obtain and maintain proper consent before sending SMS messages to customers. Service Strike provides messaging tools and opt-out handling to help businesses manage SMS communication responsibly.

6. Privacy and Terms
